Responsibilities:
- Review daily logistics open order for total 7 plants in Malaysia
- Create and monitor delivery and shipment cost
- Daily communication with transportation companies for delivery consolidation to maximise truck space in order to achieve lower rate/kg, ultimately savings for local transportation
- Daily communication with outside plants to ensure all delivery orders are received and delivered on-time
- Attain high standards in Customer requested delivery dates and standard lead time
- Diploma/Degree Holder
- 2-3 years working experience in a similar Customer Service or Logistics co-ordination role in a manufacturing industry
- Prior experience from freight/cargo industry would be ideal, though not compulsory
- Requires strong oral and written communication skills and ability to act independently with minimum supervision and can work well with tight datelines
